   4         + Fix : [RT #66164] : Lexical::Types hangs with PPI.
   5                 This was actually a regression introduced together with the new
   6                 peephole optimizer strategy, and that caused the pragma to hang
   7                 on constructs like "for (;;) { ... }".

  11         + Add : The new constant LT_FORKSAFE can be tested to know whether the
  12                 module will behave nicely when fork()ing. It's currently always
  13                 true except on Windows where you need perl 5.10.1 for it to be
  14                 true.
  15         + Chg : perl 5.8.3 is now required (instead of 5.8.0).
  16         + Fix : Scope leaks under perl 5.8-5.10.0.
  17         + Fix : Segmentation faults and misbehaviours in threaded applications.
  18         + Fix : Compatibility with perl 5.13.1 and higher.
  19         + Fix : Broken linkage on Windows with gcc 3.4, which appears in
  20                 particular when using ActivePerl's default compiler suite.
  21                 For those setups, the autovivification shared library will now
  22                 be linked against the perl dll directly (instead of the import
  23                 library).
  24         + Tst : Threads tests are now only run on perl 5.13.4 and higher.
  25                 They could segfault randomly because of what seems to be an
  26                 internal bug of Perl, which has been addressed in 5.13.4.
  27                 There is also an environment variable that allows you to
  28                 forcefully run those tests, but it should be set only for
  29                 author testing and not for end users.
